Town boss Paul Jewell has revealed that Peterborough United have accepted a joint bid for midfielder George Boyd (above) and striker Paul Taylor (below). The Blues manager, who also confirmed that Town are in talks with Celtic regarding former loanee Daryl Murphy, is set to meet with the Posh pair this afternoon to talks terms.

Last year David Norris and Gareth McAuley left on free transfers as their deals came to an end without new terms having been agreed, while the same could happen this year with Grant Leadbitter, who is understood to have been offered a deal by Middlesbrough.
